Disable USB storage devices using Group Policy Editor
To disable USB storage devices using Group Policy Editor:
- Press
Win + R - Type:
gpedit.msc
- Go to:
Computer Configuration
→ Administrative Templates
→ System
→ Removable Storage Access
- Open:
All Removable Storage classes: Deny all access
- Set it to:
Enabled
- Click Apply → OK
This blocks USB flash drives and other removable storage devices.
